Are-You-Nuts-Smoothie

It’s smoothie-time again! Easy to make and you can easily take it with you when you’re in a hurry. Just poor it in a mason jar or other cup-with-lid and you’re good to go! Today I’ll share a smoothie recipe with you that’s nutty, creamy and hearty!

In this smoothie I used nuts (walnuts and pecans), a spoonful of almondbutter and a heaping spoon of oats, this makes this to a savory breakfast smoothie that gives you enough energy for the entire morning! The nuts contain necessary and healthy fats. Oats are naturally glutenfree, but nowadays they might be a little contaminated with traces of gluten, so if you are glutenintolerant it’s best not to use them or to buy real glutenfree oats. If you’re not intolerant to gluten, you can enjoy the oats! They give long lasting energy. Because they are high in fibers you’ll feel saturated for a long time! The carbs in the oats are absorbed slowly by your body, so they will not peek your bloodsugar too much.
