Oats and Nuts

Always in a hurry in the morning, no time for breakfast? ‘No time’ will no longer be an excuse! This breakfast dish takes only a few minutes to prepare in the morning and if you like you can take it along to your work/school or eat it while travelling with public transport for example!

This delicious and savoury breakfast requires just a little preparation the night before. All you have to do the next morning is blending it together and you’re done! Top it with some fresh fruit and you have a great start of the day with a yummy breakfast that keeps you going the entire morning.


Oats and Nuts

  • 60 grams of rolled oats
  • 30 grams of cashews (unsalted!)
  • 3 dates (depitted)
  • 1 tbsp agave (you can use maplesyrup or honey as well!)
  • 1 tbsp of coconut oil
  • Topping of your preference: I used grapes, strawberries and beepollen.

Soak the oats, cashews and dates overnight. Drain the next morning, add the agave and coconut oil and blend by using a firm handmixer, blender or kitchenaid. Serve in a glass or bowl and top it with the toppings of your own preference. I used grapes, strawberries and beepollen but you could use any kind of (fresh) fruit! Shredded coconut, hempseeds or chiaseeds will be nice as well.
